The Celebrity Summit is a fine ship. She is ten years old but still quite lovely to look at. The Summit has beautiful exterior glass elevators that offer its guests a stunning panoramic view of the ocean. As you move along the corridors, you will be fascinated by the works of art, reminiscent of an art gallery. The ship was inaugurated October 1st 2001. It is 91000 tons, goes at a cruise speed of 24 knots and has occupancy of 2,034. The Summit is a member of the Celebrity Cruises' Millennium-class ships. Why not Travel?
It all started with a one word question, "why?" My friend and I were having a discussion about travelling. You see, before we had kids, there's nothing Dave and I liked to do more than plan a vacation, hop on board a plane and spend as much time as possible running around frantically to see every site the city has to offer. No town was too mundane for us; we would immerse ourselves in the culture as much as possible so our adventure would feel more authentic than touristy. So when I told my friend that there is no possible way Dave and I could travel the way we love to, and we were bound to stay at home for the foreseeable future because our kids are toddlers.
